Chris Farlowe

Chris Farlowe

British rock and soul singer

Chris Farlowe, born John Henry Deighton on October 13, 1940, is an English rock, blues and soul singer. He is best known for his hit single "Out of Time," which was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones and reached number one in the UK Singles Chart in 1966. Farlowe's musical career began with a skiffle group, but he soon moved on to rock and R&B. Throughout the 1960s, he was the lead singer of The Thunderbirds, which didn't achieve much commercial success despite their talent and the quality of Farlowe's voice.
