Axel Rudi Pell is a German heavy metal guitar player who began his musical career in the early 1980s. He played in the band Steeler before embarking on a solo career in 1989. Over the years, Axel Rudi Pell has become known for his melodic and powerful style of guitar playing, which often incorporates elements of neoclassical metal. His band, often referred to as the Axel Rudi Pell Band, has seen a stable lineup for many years, including vocalist Johnny Gioeli, keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg, bassist Volker Krawczak, and drummer Bobby Rondinelli.
