British Hammond Organ-Driven R&B Band

Wynder K. Frog was a project helmed by British keyboardist Mick Weaver, who specialized in Hammond organ-driven R&B and soul music. Active during the late 1960s, Wynder K. Frog was known for instrumental covers of popular songs of the era as well as original compositions. Weaver's energetic playing style and the band's tight musicianship gained them a following in the UK's mod scene. Although not achieving widespread commercial success, Wynder K. Frog released several albums and singles that have since become appreciated by collectors of 1960s R&B and British rock. After the project ended, Mick Weaver went on to work with notable artists across various genres, contributing his keyboard talents to numerous recordings and live performances.
