With The Dead was a British doom metal band formed in 2014 by ex-Electric Wizard guitarist Tim Bagshaw and ex-Cathedral vocalist Lee Dorrian. The group's lineup was later completed with the addition of bassist Leo Smee and drummer Alex Thomas. With The Dead was known for their heavy, crushing sound that drew from the members' previous work in the doom metal genre. They released their self-titled debut album "With The Dead" in 2015 to positive reviews from fans and critics alike, who praised the album's oppressive atmosphere and heavy riffs. Following up on their initial success, the band released their second album, "Love From With The Dead," in 2017, which continued in the same vein as their debut, offering a bleak and heavy sound that solidified their place in the doom metal scene. Despite their relatively short career, With The Dead made a significant impact on the genre before disbanding.
