Warfather is a death metal band that was formed by Steve Tucker, who is known for his work as the vocalist and bassist for the influential death metal band Morbid Angel. Warfather's music continues in the vein of brutal and technical death metal, with themes often revolving around darkness, occultism, and anti-religious sentiment. The band released their debut album "Orchestrating the Apocalypse" in 2014, which showcased their aggressive style and complex song structures. This was followed by their second album "The Grey Eminence" in 2016, which further cemented their reputation within the metal community. The production of "The Grey Eminence" was handled by Erik Rutan, another former member of Morbid Angel and the mastermind behind Hate Eternal, which added a layer of pedigree to the release.
