Wanda

The band consists of Michael Marco Fitzthum (vocals), Manuel Christoph Poppe (guitar), Christian Hummer (keyboard), Reinhold Weber (bass guitar), and Lukas Hasitschka (drums). They are known for their distinctive blend of rock and Austropop, with lyrics often sung in Viennese German. Wanda quickly gained popularity in the German-speaking countries with their debut album "Amore" released in 2014, which included the hit single "Bologna." Their music is characterized by catchy melodies, a sense of humor, and a touch of melancholy. The band's name is said to be a tribute to the Italian actress Wanda Osiris, reflecting their admiration for Italian culture.
