Wand is an American psychedelic rock band formed in 2013 in Los Angeles, California. The band was initially composed of Cory Hanson (vocals, guitar), Lee Landey (bass), and Evan Burrows (drums), with the lineup later expanding to include Robbie Cody (guitar) and Sofia Arreguin (keyboards, vocals). Wand quickly gained recognition for their blend of heavy psychedelic sounds, garage rock, and progressive elements. They released their debut album "Ganglion Reef" in 2014 under Ty Segall's Drag City imprint, GOD? Records. The band's sound continued to evolve with subsequent releases, showcasing a penchant for experimentation and a broadening of their sonic palette. Wand's work has been characterized by a prolific nature, with several albums and EPs released in a relatively short span of time, each exploring different facets of psychedelic and alternative rock. Their live performances are known for their intensity and the musicians' technical proficiency.
