Walter Trout is an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter, whose career began in the late 1960s. He first gained recognition as a sideman with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, where he played alongside other notable guitarists such as Eric Clapton and Peter Green. In 1989, Trout formed his own band, Walter Trout and the Free Radicals (later renamed Walter Trout Band, and then simply Walter Trout). Throughout his career, Trout has been known for his passionate performances and has released a prolific body of work that includes studio albums, live recordings, and collaborations with other artists.
