Ved Buens Ende was a Norwegian avant-garde metal band formed in 1994. The band's name, which translates to "At the End of the Bow," references a rainbow as an archer's bow, with a mythological connotation. They are known for their unique blend of black metal, progressive rock, and experimental elements. The group was founded by drummer Carl-Michael Eide (also known as Czral), guitarist Vicotnik, and bassist Skoll. Despite their brief initial career, Ved Buens Ende has been influential in the metal scene, particularly within avant-garde circles.
