Valsts Akadēmiskais Koris "Latvija," also known as the State Academic Choir "Latvia," is a prominent Latvian choir with a rich history in choral music. Established in 1942, the choir has become one of the leading professional choirs in Latvia, renowned for its versatile repertoire and high-quality performances. Under the artistic direction of various esteemed conductors over the years, including its long-time leader Imants Kokars and later Kaspars Putniņš, the choir has developed an extensive repertoire that ranges from Renaissance music to contemporary works.
