United Progressive Fraternity (UPF) is a progressive rock supergroup that was formed by former Unitopia vocalist Mark Trueack after the disbandment of Unitopia in 2014. The band's music is characterized by a blend of progressive rock, jazz, and classical influences, often with a focus on environmental and social issues. UPF's lineup includes a rotating cast of musicians from various countries and backgrounds, which contributes to the diverse sound of their music. They released their debut album "Fall in Love with the World" in 2014, which featured guest appearances from notable musicians such as Jon Anderson of Yes. The band's commitment to addressing global concerns is reflected in their thematic approach to album concepts, as seen in their ambitious multi-part project "Planetary Overload," which aims to raise awareness about environmental destruction and climate change through music.
