Jazz Ensemble

Trio 3 is an avant-garde jazz group that has been active since the early 1990s. The ensemble consists of three highly regarded musicians: saxophonist Oliver Lake, bassist Reggie Workman, and drummer Andrew Cyrille. Each member of the trio brings a rich history of jazz experience to the group, having played with a variety of jazz legends throughout their careers. Oliver Lake is known for his work with the World Saxophone Quartet, Reggie Workman has played with John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk among others, and Andrew Cyrille is noted for his collaboration with Cecil Taylor.
