The World/Inferno Friendship Society is an eclectic and theatrical punk rock band that originated in Brooklyn, New York, in the mid-1990s. The group is known for its unique blend of punk, soul, klezmer, and jazz influences, coupled with a cabaret-style performance aesthetic. The band was founded by singer Jack Terricloth (Peter Ventantonio), who remained a constant member until his passing in 2021.
