The New Seekers

The New Seekers

British-Australian pop group

The New Seekers were a British-based pop group, formed in 1969 by Keith Potger after the break-up of his group, The Seekers. The group is best known for their hit songs "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony)," which was famously adapted into a Coca-Cola commercial jingle, and "Never Ending Song of Love," which became a top-three hit in the UK and the US. They achieved considerable success in the early 1970s with a number of top 40 hits. The New Seekers participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972 with the song "Beg, Steal or Borrow," where they placed second.
