Henry Mancini was an American composer, conductor, and arranger, renowned for his film and television scores. Born Enrico Nicola Mancini on April 16, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio, he went on to become one of the most celebrated composers in the history of film music. Mancini's career was marked by a unique ability to blend jazz and classical styles into memorable melodies. He is perhaps best known for his works such as "The Pink Panther Theme," "Moon River" from "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and the theme from "Peter Gunn."
