The Bulgarian Voices Angelite, also known as The Bulgarian Women's Choir Angelite, is an all-female choir that has gained international acclaim for its distinctive performances of Bulgarian folk music. The choir, originally named the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir, was founded in the 1950s and became famous worldwide after the release of the album "Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares" in 1986. Under the direction of various conductors over the years, including Filip Kutev, who was instrumental in their initial formation, and later on Vanya Moneva, The Bulgarian Voices Angelite has continued to enchant audiences with their ethereal harmonies and complex rhythms.
