The Bobby Fuller Four

The Bobby Fuller Four

1960s American Rock n Roll Band

The Bobby Fuller Four was an American rock band that became popular during the mid-1960s. The group's leader, Bobby Fuller, was a Texas-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist who drew inspiration from fellow Texan Buddy Holly, as well as other rock and roll and Tex-Mex influences. The band is best known for their hit "I Fought the Law," which became a top-ten hit for them in 1966. Tragically, Bobby Fuller's promising career was cut short when he was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the age of 23, just as his fame was rising. Despite their brief time in the spotlight, The Bobby Fuller Four left a lasting impact on the garage rock and rockabilly genres with their energetic performances and catchy tunes.
