The Anointed Pace Sisters

Gospel Vocal Group

The Atlanta, Georgia-based gospel music female group, The Anointed Pace Sisters are comprised of nine sisters who are LaShun Pace, Duranice Pace, June Pace-Martin, Dejuaii Pace, Latrice Pace Speights, Leslie R. Pace, Lydia Pace, Melonda A. Pace, and Phyllis Y. Pace. Their brother is gospel singer and Pastor Murphy J. Pace, who formed and led the gospel choir, The Voices Of Power, in which his sisters often performed with. Their father, Murphy Pace Sr. was a former gospel quartet singer and COGIC Superintendent and their mother is Mother Bettie Ann Pace who was a gospel singer and a pastor. The The Annointed Pace Family and Anointed Pace Sisters began their singing career at high school talent shows; they won national renown during the early 1970s after taking home Best Gospel Group honors at the Annual Church of God in Christ Music Convention, and spent the latter half of the decade serving in the Action Revival Team headed by their uncle, the Rev. Gene Martin (2). The Anointed Pace Sisters album, "U-Know", appeared on Savoy Records in 1992, and remained on Billboard's gospel charts for over a year; subsequent releases include the live "My Purpose".
