Swan Lake

Swan Lake is not an individual artist, composer, or band but rather a ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. However, the name Swan Lake has also been associated with a Canadian indie supergroup formed in 2005. The group consists of Carey Mercer from Frog Eyes and Blackout Beach, Dan Bejar from Destroyer and The New Pornographers, and Spencer Krug from Wolf Parade and Sunset Rubdown. Swan Lake released their debut album "Beast Moans" in 2006, which was followed by "Enemy Mine" in 2009. The band's music is known for its intricate arrangements and the distinctive voices of its members. Despite the members' involvement in other successful projects, Swan Lake has garnered attention for its unique blend of indie rock sensibilities.
