1940s Western Swing Musician and Bandleader

b. December 17, 1910 (Grand, OK, USA) d. November 23, 1969 (Oakland, CA, USA) American Western swing fiddler and band leader. Inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame (1960) and the Western Swing Society Hall of Fame (1989) Member of the Hoffman Hayride (KTLA-TV) and the Town Hall Party Compton, Ca. His career ended in 1961 when he was convicted for the murder of his second wife.
