Canadian Folk Music Ensemble

Siskiyou is a Canadian indie folk band that was formed in 2008 by singer-songwriter Colin Huebert, formerly of the band Great Lake Swimmers. The band's music is characterized by its intimate, lo-fi sound and melancholic, introspective lyrics. Siskiyou's self-titled debut album was released in 2010, followed by "Keep Away The Dead" in 2011, and "Not Somewhere" in 2019. Their sound has evolved over the years, incorporating a wider range of instruments and textures. Despite not being mainstream, Siskiyou has garnered a dedicated following and critical acclaim for their thoughtful compositions and Huebert's delicate vocal delivery. The band's work often features intricate guitar work and subtle arrangements that blend folk sensibilities with experimental touches.
