Silversun Pickups is an alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2000. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Brian Aubert, bassist Nikki Monninger, drummer Christopher Guanlao, and keyboardist Joe Lester. They first gained attention with their 2005 EP "Pikul," but it was their debut full-length album "Carnavas" in 2006 that brought them widespread recognition, featuring the hit singles "Lazy Eye" and "Well Thought Out Twinkles." Their follow-up album, "Swoon," was released in 2009 and included popular tracks like "Panic Switch," further solidifying their place in the indie rock scene with its layered guitar effects and dynamic songwriting.
