Shadz Of Lingo was a hip-hop group from Atlanta, Georgia, that emerged in the early 1990s. The group consisted of members Lingo, Kolorado, and Rocco. They were known for their conscious lyrics and smooth production that blended jazz and soul influences with a Southern hip-hop aesthetic. Shadz Of Lingo signed with EMI Records and released their debut album "A View to a Kill" in 1994. The album featured production from notable producers such as Dallas Austin and Diamond D. Despite their promising start and the critical acclaim they received for their lyrical prowess and unique sound, Shadz Of Lingo did not achieve significant commercial success and remained more of an underground act within the hip-hop community.
