Recorded in 1997 and sold only as a CD-R album on shows, this is the first time this album is released on a professional CD release. Runaway were a melodic Hard Rock band from Belgium who formed in the mid 90's after SHANNAH disbanded. Shannah were a female fronted melodic Metal/Hard Rock from Belgium who released a tremendous private 12"EP back in 1991, that was reissued for the first time on CD by Blood & Iron/Lost Realm Records in 2016, containing their 1993 demo. Runaways collects influences from all the melodic Rock spectrum from Journey to Poison. They were one of those forgotten but great european hard rock bands that were out in the wilderness through the post-grunge years and in the nu-metal explosion. The lack of support by the scene in general dictated the end for Runaway but the music legacy lives.
