Richie Ramone is an American musician best known for being the drummer for the iconic punk rock band the Ramones. Born Richard Reinhardt on August 11, 1957, he joined the Ramones in 1983 and was a member until 1987. During his tenure with the band, Richie contributed to several albums, including "Too Tough to Die," "Animal Boy," and "Halfway to Sanity." Not only did he play drums, but he also composed songs for the band, including "Somebody Put Something in My Drink." After leaving the Ramones, Richie continued his music career, releasing solo work and touring. His solo albums include "Entitled" and "Cellophane," showcasing his abilities as a songwriter and vocalist in addition to his drumming skills. Richie Ramone remains an influential figure in punk music and continues to perform and record music.
