British folk rock duo

Richard & Linda Thompson were a British folk rock duo composed of the husband-and-wife team of Richard Thompson, an acclaimed guitarist and songwriter, and Linda Thompson, a singer. The couple formed their partnership in the early 1970s after Richard Thompson left Fairport Convention, a group that played a significant role in the British folk rock movement. Together, Richard & Linda Thompson released several albums that are highly regarded within the folk and folk-rock genres.
