Richard Hayman was an American arranger, harmonica player, and conductor. Born on March 27, 1920, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he had a prolific career that spanned several decades. Hayman was best known for his work as an arranger for the Boston Pops Orchestra, which he served for over 30 years under the baton of Arthur Fiedler. His contributions to the world of music also included a number of popular albums and arrangements that often featured his own harmonica performances.
