Rhett Forrester

Rhett Forrester

Late American Heavy Metal Vocalist

Rhett Forrester was an American musician best known as the lead vocalist for the heavy metal band Riot from 1981 to 1984. During his tenure with Riot, he contributed to several of the band's albums, including "Restless Breed" (1982) and "Born in America" (1983). After leaving Riot, Forrester pursued a solo career and released two albums: "Gone With The Wind" (1984) and "Even The Score" (1988). His style was characterized by a powerful and gritty vocal delivery that was well-suited to the hard rock and heavy metal genres. Tragically, Forrester's life and career were cut short when he was murdered in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1994 under circumstances that remain unsolved. Despite his untimely death, Rhett Forrester's contributions to the metal scene of the early '80s are still remembered by fans of the genre.
