The band was formed in the late 1960s and became known for their emotional blues sound. Oscar Benton himself was born on February 3, 1949, and began his music career in the 1960s. The band's most famous hit is "Bensonhurst Blues," which was revived in the 1981 movie "Pour la peau d'un flic" featuring Alain Delon, bringing them international recognition.
