Original Sin

British Drum and Bass Duo

Original Sin is a speed/power metal "band" from Long Island, New York, USA, that was "formed" in 1986. Indeed, Original Sin wasn't an all female band, as the band photo and the member credits stated. It was actually another metalploitation band made in the studio by Zoran Busic, the manager of the record company Cobra (2). According to David DeFeis all the music was written by him and Edward Pursino and the "band" actually consisted of David's sister Danae DeFeis (vocals; pseudonym: Danielle Draconis), Edward Pursino (guitars; pseudonym: Cynthia Taylor), Joe O'Reilly (bass guitar; pseudonym: Pandora Fox) and Mark Edwards (34) (drums; pseudonym: Darlene Destructo). The record company Cobra put out more "bands" and releases this way. Three other projects of that kind were Piledriver (2) and Exorcist (4), in which David DeFeis and Edward Pursino were also involved, as well as Convict.
