Olga Borodina is a renowned Russian mezzo-soprano, celebrated for her rich voice and compelling stage presence. Born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) on July 29, 1963, she graduated from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory and quickly established herself as a leading opera singer of her generation. Borodina's repertoire spans a wide range of roles, with particular acclaim in works by Russian composers such as Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky. She has performed at many of the world's most prestigious opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House in London, and the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.
