Dutch Violin Prodigy

Noa Wildschut (2001) has already gained her place in the classical music scene. Her musical talent was spotted at 4 years old by Coosje Wijzenbeek, who took her under her wings. Noa now studies with Vera Beths at Amsterdam University of the Arts, juggling between school and music. Noa followed masterclasses/lessons with Jaap van Zweden, Menahem Pressler, Frank Peter Zimmerman, Anner Bijlsma and Liviu Prunaru. In 2014, she joined the Mutter Virtuosi, a string ensemble led by Anne-Sopie Mutter, and since May 2015 she holds an official scholarship as youngest fellow ever of the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation, giving a boost to Noa’s individual development. At the age of six Noa appeared live on Dutch television for the 'Kinderprinsengrachtconcert 2007' in Amsterdam. At seven she made her debut in the main hall of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam at the 'Night of the Promising'. While others were playing outside, Noa won numerous awards, including first prize at the International Violin Competition Louis Spohr in Weimar (aged 9), first prize at the Iordens Violin Competition in The Hague (aged 10), and the Concertgebouw Young Talent Award 2013 (aged 11). But she won more: she won’s people’s hearts. ...
