Nino Oliviero was an Italian composer, conductor, and arranger, born on February 28, 1918, in Naples, Italy. He is best known for his work in film music during the 20th century. Oliviero's career was marked by a diverse range of compositions that spanned various genres and styles. One of his most notable achievements was co-composing the score for the film "Mondo Cane" in 1962, alongside Riz Ortolani. The soundtrack for "Mondo Cane" featured the song "More," which became a hit and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Throughout his career, Oliviero contributed to numerous film scores and was recognized for his ability to blend traditional Italian melodies with contemporary cinematic sounds. His work in the film industry established him as a respected figure in the realm of movie soundtracks. Nino Oliviero passed away on February 22, 1980, leaving behind a legacy of musical contributions to Italian cinema.
