Nehëmah

Nehëmah

French black metal band

Nehëmah is black metal project from France that formed on October 31st of 1992. They released a demo entitled "Light Of A Dead Star" in 1995, which was limited to 166 copies. At that point, there were only 3 members: Corven, Dargon, and Eligor. After the release of the demo, Corven decided to stop the project for personal reasons. In Autumn 2000, they returned with an updated full line-up, consisting of Nocturnos (guitars), Dargon (drums), and Corven (bass, vocals). The following year in March, some songs off their 1995 demo were re-recorded with a better sound quality and assistance from a couple of French labels. A few months later, in the middle of summer, Sorghal joined the band as the second guitarist. While recording "Shadows From The Past..." (which is the next and last part of the demo), Nocturnos left the band. Currently signed with Avantgarde Music. "Nehëmah" is the Sumerian pseudonym for the reptilian Lilith. Current line-up: Corven - vocals, bass Sorghal - guitars Dargon - drums Former members: Hljodr - drums Oldar - drums Eligor - guitars Nocturnos - guitars Anton - guitars Glaurung - live drums (2005)
