Matthew Halls is an internationally renowned conductor and harpsichordist, recognized for his dynamic and insightful performances in both the early music field and in broader classical repertoire. He first came to prominence as a keyboard player and early music conductor, but his career has since expanded to include conducting symphony orchestras, choirs, and opera. Halls has served as the Artistic Director of the Oregon Bach Festival and has worked with a variety of ensembles and orchestras around the world.
