Master Danse

Master Danse

Detroit, MI band who released one extremely rare promo 45 in 1974. From the Michigan Meltdown (Post-Garage Pandemonium And Pre-Punk Fuzz Freaks From The Mitten State's Miliken Era) sleevenotes: "Released in 1974 in conjunction with the short-lived east-side Detroit record store "The New York Rock Exchange", Master Danse Were managed by Alden Walker Gallup III (later known as Stirling Silver and even later as Skeletor) This scarce Blue-Cheer-styled burner seems to only have ever been released as a promo. Lyrics like "get this thing out of my damn arm (he's talking about heroin) coupled with the gunshot at the end of the song give this thing the weight of Bob May's poetry... heavy!"
