Born on October 12, 1935, in Modena, Italy, Pavarotti began his professional career as a tenor in 1961 in Italy and gained international fame in 1963 after performing at the Royal Opera House in London. He was known for his televised concerts and media appearances, which brought opera to a broad audience. Pavarotti was also part of The Three Tenors, alongside Plácido Domingo and José Carreras; their performances were celebrated worldwide and brought classical music to millions of listeners. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to music and humanitarian work. Luciano Pavarotti's legacy includes a vast discography of operas and solo albums that showcase his exceptional vocal talent. He passed away on September 6, 2007, but his influence on the world of opera continues to endure.
