Atmospheric Doom Metal Duo

Light Field Reverie is a musical project that blends elements of doom metal, shoegaze, and atmospheric rock. It is a collaboration between musicians Heike Langhans, known for her work with the Swedish doom metal band Draconian, and Mike Lamb, who is also a member of the New Zealand-based atmospheric black metal band Sojourner. Light Field Reverie was formed as a way for these artists to explore different musical landscapes and to create something distinct from their primary bands. Their sound is characterized by ethereal vocals, layered guitars, and a dreamy ambiance. The project showcases the versatility of the artists involved, allowing them to experiment with different textures and moods outside of their usual genre constraints.
