Laurel & Hardy

Laurel & Hardy

Iconic Comedy Duo of the Early Hollywood Era

Laurel and Hardy were not musicians or composers; they were a comedy duo consisting of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. They became famous during the early to mid-20th century for their slapstick comedy films. While they did not produce music albums, they did appear in films that contained musical elements. One of their most famous films with a significant musical component is "Babes in Toyland" (also known as "March of the Wooden Soldiers"), which was released in 1934 and featured adaptations of Victor Herbert's operetta music. However, this does not mean they produced albums of the operetta themselves; they were actors in a film that used the music.
