Japanese Psychedelic Rock Trio

Kuunatic is a Tokyo-based band known for their unique blend of global music influences, which they describe as "tribal psychedelic." The band consists of members Fumie Kikuchi (Keyboard/Vocal), Yuko Araki (Drums/Vocal), and Shoko Yoshida (Bass/Vocal). They formed in 2016 and have since crafted a sound that fuses traditional Japanese music with elements of krautrock, dub, and psych rock, among other genres. Their performances are characterized by their ritualistic intensity and the members' powerful vocal harmonies. While Kuunatic has been active in the Tokyo underground scene, they have also gained international attention through performances abroad and collaborations with artists from different countries.
