Irish Folk World Music Ensemble

Kíla is an Irish folk music/world music group, known for their energetic and often experimental fusion of traditional Irish music with a wide range of other genres, including world music, rock, and jazz. Formed in Dublin in 1987 by a group of family and friends, the band has become one of Ireland's most innovative and creative musical acts. Their lineup features a diverse array of instruments including traditional Irish ones such as the uilleann pipes, bodhrán, and fiddle, as well as guitar, flute, djembe, and other percussion instruments.
