Kensington

Dutch rock band

Kensington is a Dutch rock band from Utrecht, formed in 2005. The band consists of Eloi Youssef (vocals, guitar), Casper Starreveld (guitar, vocals), Jan Haker (bass), and Niles Vandenberg (drums). They have become one of the prominent bands in the Dutch music scene, known for their energetic live performances and anthemic rock sound. Kensington has released several studio albums that have garnered critical acclaim and commercial success within the Netherlands. Their rise to fame was marked by albums such as "Vultures" (2012) and "Rivals" (2014), with the latter containing the hit single "Streets." The band's popularity continued to grow with subsequent releases, leading them to play sold-out shows at major venues and festivals. They have received numerous awards, including several 3FM Awards and an MTV Europe Music Award for Best Dutch Act. Kensington's music is characterized by a blend of alternative rock with pop influences, featuring strong melodies and rousing choruses.
