German Baroque Composer and Thomaskantor

Johann Heinrich Rolle (1716–1785) was a German composer, organist, and teacher who made significant contributions to the music of the late Baroque and early Classical periods. Born in Quedlinburg, he later moved to Magdeburg, where he became the city's music director and organist at St. John's Church.
