Jarvis Cocker

Jarvis Cocker

British indie rock musician

Jarvis Cocker is an English musician, singer-songwriter, and frontman of the influential Britpop band Pulp, which gained prominence in the 1990s. Born on September 19, 1963, in Sheffield, England, Cocker became known for his distinctive stage presence and wry observations on British life. Pulp's breakthrough came with the album "Different Class" in 1995, which featured hits such as "Common People" and "Disco 2000." After Pulp went on hiatus in the early 2000s, Jarvis Cocker pursued a solo career.
