Jaroslav Vogel was a Czech conductor, composer, and musicologist, born on July 24, 1894, in Humpolec, Bohemia, and passed away on January 2, 1970. He was particularly known for his interpretations of Czech opera and was closely associated with the National Theatre in Prague. Vogel's career was marked by his deep involvement with the works of Czech composers such as Leoš Janáček, Bedřich Smetana, and Antonín Dvořák. He conducted numerous operas and orchestral works both in his home country and abroad.
