Holy Sons is the musical project of Emil Amos, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Portland, Oregon. Amos, who is also known for his work with the bands Om, Grails, and Lilacs & Champagne, started Holy Sons as a solo endeavor in the late 1990s. The project is characterized by its lo-fi production, introspective lyrics, and a blend of folk, rock, and experimental music. Over the years, Holy Sons has released a substantial body of work that showcases Amos's versatility as an artist and his penchant for exploring the darker aspects of the human psyche through his music. While Holy Sons may not be as widely recognized as some of Amos's other projects, it has garnered a dedicated following and critical acclaim within indie music circles.
