German Conductor and Opera Director

Heinrich Hollreiser (1913–2006) was a German conductor known for his interpretations of operatic and symphonic repertoire. Born in Munich, he studied at the Munich Conservatory. Throughout his career, Hollreiser held several prominent positions, including General Music Director in Wiesbaden and Düsseldorf. He was also a guest conductor at various opera houses across Europe, including the Vienna State Opera and the Paris Opera. His recordings with various orchestras have contributed to his reputation as a respected interpreter of German Romantic music.
