Harry Grodberg was a distinguished Soviet organist and pedagogue, known for his mastery of the organ and contributions to the development of organ music in the Soviet Union. Born on December 2, 1907, in Vilnius, which was then part of the Russian Empire, Grodberg developed an early interest in music and went on to study at the Leningrad Conservatory. His career was marked by his tenure as a professor at the Moscow Conservatory, where he taught from 1946 until his death in 1984.
