Harpers Bizarre

Harpers Bizarre

1960s American Pop Vocal Group

Harpers Bizarre was an American pop-rock band that emerged from the mid-1960s music scene, known for their baroque pop sound. The group originally formed under the name The Tikis in Santa Cruz, California, before changing their name to Harpers Bizarre following a change in musical direction. They gained fame with their hit single "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)," a cover of the Paul Simon song, which became synonymous with their name and was featured on their debut album "Feelin' Groovy" in 1967.
