Glen Matlock

Glen Matlock

British punk rock musician and Sex Pistols bassist

Glen Matlock is an English musician, best known as the bass guitarist for the seminal punk rock band the Sex Pistols. He was a key member during their initial period and played a major role in composing most of their songs, including the iconic "Anarchy in the U.K." and "God Save the Queen." Matlock's tenure with the Sex Pistols was relatively short-lived; he left the band in 1977 before their only studio album "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" was completed, although he is credited on most of the tracks.
